BY SEA: Island Braè is situated approximately 7 nautical miles from the city of Split. The best and most reliable way to reach island Braè is via a ferry line, "Jadrolinija." The most widely used route is the Split-Supetar route. There is also Makarska-Sumartin line, connecting the city of Makarska with the north east island Braè town of Sumartin. The duration of the ferry ride is roughly between 45 minutes to an hour. All ferries are A/C equipped. Jadrolinija d.d.
BY AIR: There is an international airport in the city of Split. Airport Split is about 20 km or 12 miles from the city center and the best way to and from the airport is via bus or taxi. Island Braè also has an airport, however it is only fit to accommodate smaller planes, usually charter planes. BY AUTOMOBILE: Depending on where you are coming from, the city of Split can be reached via a highway, a highway which connects Split, Rijeka and Zagreb.
Zagreb can be reached from all over Europe via highways.
All destinations on the island Braè are accessible by well maintained paved roads. The distance between towns on the island is very small, for instance, the distance from the ferry port of Supetar to Villa Ivana is 7 km, or 4 miles.
